Santa Barbara, Ca., December
13, 2004 - Virtual outsourcing is a hot topic among Realtors® nationwide,
allowing them to increase their profits more cost effectively than hiring
traditional personal assistants. Recognizing the demand for education about
virtual outsourcing, the Council of Residential Specialists just approved a new
one-day course about how agents can effectively use virtual outsourcing for
their businesses.
The Council, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the
National Association of Realtors®, is the first organization to offer training
on the use of virtual assistants and consultants that is linked to earning its
Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. RUSSER Communications
developed the one-day course called “Earn More, Work Less & Enjoy Life —
Transform Your Business with the Power of eProductivity™.”
“We are excited to offer our members, designees and students
such a forward-thinking course that helps them run even more successful
businesses,” says Ingrid Glancy, CRS, CIPS, 2005 president of the Council. “Our
members are high-producing agents who can benefit tremendously from the use of
virtual assistants without the headaches and stronger financial commitment of
hiring full-time personal assistants.”
Michael J. Russer, president of RUSSER Communications, developed
the course’s curriculum after years of work in the field of virtual outsourcing.
He is known as an expert in virtual outsourcing for the real estate profession.
“This course is a good fit for members of the Council,” Russer
says. “They have a strong commitment to their careers and use what they learn
through the CRS courses to enhance their services to clients. Virtual assistants
are another way to enhance their businesses cost effectively while improving
their services to home buyers and sellers.”
The course’s curriculum covers how to find, evaluate, hire and
work effectively with independent contractor virtual assistants and consultants
who work off-site and sometimes even across the country from the agents who hire
them. The course helps students to decide which tasks can be outsourced, so the
agents can focus on what they do best.
The Council of Residential Specialists has course sponsors
throughout the United States. To find out where this course is being presented,
