=====RealSelect clarifies referral fee issue===== (REAL Trends - Dallas/Denver) During a group discussion at the REAL Trends Gathering of Eagles Leadership Conference last week, questions regarding RealSelect's relationship with Intuit, the company that makes Quicken software, arose. Anouk Patty of Quicken Mortgage and Roger Conley of RealSelect were asked about Quicken's ability to get customer data from RealSelect leads and whether it could be referred back to Realtors. Stuart Wolff of RealSelect clarified the position of his company with the following statement. "Our position on this topic has always been, and continues to be, crystal clear: RealSelect, and its partners, do not, and will not ever, charge referral fees. Not today. Not tomorrow. =====Mergers, acquisitions, affiliations===== * Dutra Realty Enterprises, a real estate brokerage firm with offices throughout California's East Bay area, and Prudential California Realty, of Northern California, have jointly announced their decision to merge. The merger creates a real estate organization with combined annual sales of $4.85 billion, 19,000 annual transactions, 103 offices and 2,900 sales associates throughout Northern California. Prudential's David Cobo and Ed Krafchow, and Dominic Dutra of Dutra Realty, will head the organization, with Cobo acting as president and chief executive officer, Krafchow as executive vice president and Dutra as chief operating officer.
